On-Load and Off-Load Distribution Transformers

ALBA Power offers both On-Load and Off-Load Distribution Transformers, engineered to deliver reliable voltage regulation and efficient energy distribution across various utility, commercial, and industrial networks.

On-Load Distribution Transformers are equipped with On-Load Tap Changers (OLTC), allowing automatic voltage adjustment without interrupting the power supply. These are ideal for installations where voltage fluctuations are frequent and need to be managed dynamically under load, ensuring consistent voltage levels and minimizing system downtime.

Off-Load Distribution Transformers, on the other hand, are fitted with Off-Circuit Tap Changers (OCTC), allowing manual tap adjustment only when the transformer is de-energized. These are well-suited for stable networks where occasional voltage setting is sufficient, offering a cost-effective and efficient solution.

Both variants are manufactured in compliance with IS 1180 and IS 2026 standards, and are available in multiple configurations (11KV/0.433KV, 33KV/0.433KV, etc.) and capacities.
