To uphold our commitment to delivering high-performance transformers, we maintain a fully equipped, state-of-the-art testing facility at our plant, including an in-house Heat Run Test setup for transformers up to 10 MVA, 33 kV class.
Our laboratory is designed to perform both routine and special tests in accordance with national and international standards, ensuring each transformer meets strict performance and safety benchmarks before it leaves our facility.

Alba Power Pvt. Ltd. is equipped with advanced infrastructure designed to support the manufacturing, assembly, and testing of high-capacity power and distribution transformers. 🔹 80-Ton EOT Crane
Our manufacturing unit is equipped with a heavy-duty Electric Overhead Traveling (EOT) Crane with a lifting capacity of 80 tons. This allows us to safely handle and manoeuvre large transformer components and fully assembled units — including transformers up to 50 MVA — within the plant. The crane ensures efficient workflow, reduces assembly time, and supports the manufacturing of high-capacity transformers with ease and safety.

🔹 AC Dust-Proof Winding Shop (Up to 50 MVA, 132 kV Class)
Precision winding is at the core of a transformer’s performance. Our dust-proof winding shop, designed with climate-controlled air conditioning, ensures a contamination-free environment during the coil winding process. Capable of handling transformers up to 50 MVA, 132 kV class, this facility minimizes the risk of insulation failures and enhances the long-term reliability and performance of the final product.

🔹 Dehydration Oven (Up to 50 MVA, 132 kV Class)
Our high-capacity dehydration oven is used to remove moisture from the core and windings before final assembly and oil filling. This is critical to preventing insulation degradation and partial discharge issues. The oven supports units up to 50 MVA, 132 kV, ensuring that even the largest transformers are properly conditioned for long-term performance and insulation integrity.

🔹 In-House Testing Facility (Up to 50 MVA, 132 kV Class)
Alba Power maintains a comprehensive in-house testing lab for routine and type testing of transformers up to 50 MVA, 132 kV class. This facility is equipped to perform all major electrical, mechanical, and thermal tests, including electromagnetic analysis, dielectric strength verification, load and no-load loss measurement, tan delta testing, and more — ensuring that every transformer complies with IEC, IS, and customer-specific standards.

🔹 In-House Heat Run Test Facility (Up to 50 MVA, 132 kV Class)
Our dedicated heat run test facility allows us to conduct temperature rise tests under simulated full-load conditions for transformers up to 50 MVA, 132 kV class. This crucial test ensures the unit can perform reliably under expected thermal stresses, validating cooling system efficiency and overall transformer durability before dispatch.

Integrated Test Stand for Transformers

Our facility includes a state-of-the-art Integrated Test Stand designed specifically for comprehensive testing of power and distribution transformers. This advanced test stand allows for seamless execution of multiple critical electrical and thermal tests under controlled conditions, ensuring each transformer meets exacting performance and safety standards.
